D’Angel recently released the long awaited video to her single, “Stronger”. In September, I featured the behind the scene pics from the photo shoot and there’s even a “making of” video on YouTube. “Stronger” chronicles the drama and controversy that D’Angel has been involved in for the last few years. The lyrics of the song reference her tumultuous marriage to Beenie Man and their very bitter and public separation, her struggle to be taken seriously in reggae, and her ultimate desire to rise above it all and be a good mother.
I enjoy the message of the song and the special effects, a la Maxwell’s “This Woman’s Work” video. I’m loving the positivity and the fact that through it all, she has in fact grown and remained “strong as the Rock of Gibraltor”.
Let me know what you think about the message and videography of the song.

I like the video and the message in the song. I respect a person who can rise above it all but, I feel like she could have just dj the song instead of sing the song because her vocal skills are weak. Overall, the video is nice!!!
