The Salt-n- Pepa Show
![]()
Salt-n-Pepa have re-united for their new upcoming series on Vh1, the Salt-n-Pepa Show. Salt-n-Pepa was the first all female rap group and stayed on the charts during the late 80’s and early 90’s with hits like Push It, Shoop, and What A Man. The group disbanded in 2002 and both ladies admit that they have grown distant over the years, partially due to the fact that Salt has found God and shuns appearances where she will have to perform certain objectionable songs of theirs like, Push It. This sounds exactly like what happened with the ladies of SWV when Coko decided that she no longer wanted to continue with their reunion because of her commitment to Christ. Let’s hope the ladies of Salt-n-Pepa can mend their friendship like the ladies of SWV did, which at the end of the day is most important thing. (Sandra “Pepa” Denton was born in Kingston, Jamaica on November 4, 1964.) Here’s a clip of the show, which premieres on October 15th:
