The 2008 Grammy Best Reggae Album Nominees

I’m not a big fan of the Grammy’s Reggae category simply because: #1 I don’t believe reggae and dancehall should be in the same category #2 I’m not convinced that even 10% of The Academy even knows, let alone listens to the nominees that they vote for, #3 The Grammy’s are commercialism at its finest. All of these reasons are why I was so happy to see Jamaica create the Reggae Academy Awards. Never-the-less, I do want to congratulate the nominees and would just love to see the crowd’s reaction to Ele’s super hype and multi-colored performance of “5-0″ or “Let’s Get Physical”, now that would be priceless!
