Sean Paul was NOT arrested in Sweden

I’ve been behind this week in reporting the news, due to the fact that I’m helping my parents move. In the case of this story I’m glad that I have been a little behind because it seems that there has been some misinformation surrounding what exactly happened to Sean Paul on a recent trip to Sweden.
It was reported throughout the internet that Sean Paul was arrested, had his hotel room and personal belonging searched, during a major drug sweep by Swedish officials during his recent visit to Sweden, where he performed at the Uppsala Reggae Festival.
Sean’s publicist at Headline Entertainment, Corlette Deleon, has issued a statement saying that Sean Paul was not arrested or in anyway involved in any drug searches or raids.
I’d love to know the source of all this confusion… the entire situation sounds a little suspect to me.

This is indeed a strange story. Not that I value TMZ.COM but they seem to be sticking with the report that he was arrested and questioned for subtance abuse.
It is not that I doubt the publicist, however I remember publicist for Jennifer Lopez who stated she (or rather denied) Jennifer was pregnant.
So hmmmm…Reggae Festival? Ganga? folks smoking…lol
er..could be some truth..
I guess we just have to stay tuned.
