It’s being reported that rapper Shyne will be released early from prison for good behavior. Shyne is currently serving a 10 year sentence stemming from a shooting that occured at New York night club in 1999. Shyne along with Sean Combs, Jennifer Lopez and others were involved in an altercation with someone at the club, which lead to three people being shot. Shyne was pinpointed by a witness as being the shooter and was convicted and sentenced to 10 years in prison. On February 7, 2008 Dean Barrow,Shyne’s father was elected as the Prime Minister of Belize. Dean Barrow attended the Norman Manley Law School in Kingston and is also a well respected lawyer in Belize. Shyne is best known for hits like Bad Boyz and Bonnie and Shyne, both of which were collaborations with reggae superstar Barrington Levy.
