Ragga Muffins Festival
President’s Day weekend, February 16th-17th, will be filled with reggae vibes in Long Beach, California. It’s time again for the annual Ragga Muffins Festival which is hailed as the best and largest Reggae Festival in the US. Performers this year include Beenie Man, Capleton, Anthony B, Cherine Anderson, Tarrus Riley, Gentleman, Collie Buddz, Sly & Robbie, and more. The event honors reggae legend Bob Marley and offers activities for the entire family including foods, crafts, and storytellers. Tickets range from $39.00-$60.00. What the?!!! Yuh kno mi juss see dis? I was like wait a minute…is there another Raggamuffin Festival somewhere I don’t know about? This my city yuh kno? I went a few years back when Elephant man performed and was yellin at the folks to “lock off de lights” in the stadium…..well…they locked off the lights and it was fiyah!!! So sad I missed this. They used to call it the Bob Marley Festival but changed for copyrights issues.
Can’t wait for it next year.

LOL! Sorry you missed it, honestly I hadn’t heard of it before. Here in Texas, Houston has a Bob Marley Festival every year but it seems like it’s nothing compared to the one out there.
