Pre and Post Weekend Rundown

I hope everyone enjoyed their Martin Luther King, Jr holiday on yesterday, (here in the US). I spent the extended weekend with my parents and I was even able to watch 3 movies, The Kingdom, Cloverfield, and Bourne Ultimatum, all of which were really good. The Kingdom was really good and I love how the story really came full circle at the end, Cloverfield was really good as well. I had been wanting to see this movie since I saw the trailer for it when I went to go see Transformers last year. If you are any way prone to motion sickness I must warn you to stay away. The movie is filmed from the perspective of a home video and let me tell you, the entire movie you are straining to stay focused, not get dizzy, and trying to see what in the world is that monster in the background! (The movie theater said that they had even had some people throw up in the theater. Yuck!) This is another one of those movies where you leave the theater feeling like you have more questions than answers, trust me. The guy sitting next to me said it was “a rip”! I personally thought it was good though. Bourne Ultimatum was good but aren’t all the Bourne movies good!
