Mr. Vegas shared his personal pics from Saturday’s Reggaefest which took place at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC. You can click here for more pics from the night’s events.

Barbee

In other Reggaefest news, Barbee was injured in a car accident on her way to Saturday’s event, in which she was scheduled to perform. It’s reported that she removed her seat belt to apply makeup while riding as a passenger in her car, when the car careened out of control and struck an SUV. Barbee’s head hit the windshield on impact and she suffered a concussion. The singer was admitted to a NY hospital where she was in a coma for two hours, but did eventually regain consciousness and is currently recuperating. The singer also dismissed rumors of her being pregnant (by Beenie Man).

Beenie Man Autobiography

Beenie Man is scheduled to release his autobiography, “Who Am I? The Untold Story of Beenie Man”, next month and judging by fan anticipation, it’s going to be a bestseller. Written by journalist, Milton Wray, over the last 11 years, the 400 plus page biography is said to begin with his parents meeting and covers his entire career, even his current tax woes. Milton was quoted as saying, “The intention was not to put out a public relations piece for the artiste. The facts are presented as they occurred, whether or not Beenie Man likes those facts. He has led a very controversial life, and he acknowledges that, he recently told me as much. I believe he is prepared for whatever revelations may come from this book”. (Source)

Hmmm, it should be interesting to see if those revelations include the truth behind his incessant relationship troubles.

That’s a sad story but a very stupid thing she did on the road. One thing you don’t do is play when you’re driving on the road. I hope she gets better.

The controversial Beenie Man’s biography should make for interesting reading, especially, section(s) or chapter(s) that/which address(es) the constant conflicts, tensions and rivalry between Beenie Man and Bounty Killa.Hopefully, the author/journalist,Mr.Milton Wray explores this relationship between both Dance Hall purveyors and elucidate what constitutes this antagonism.Concerning, the actual publication of Beenie Man’s biography, it is good to see that an artiste of his caliber and international acclaim is publishing his musical career and lifes story for posterity.Guess what, I will not be surprised to hear that Bounty Killa’s biography will be coming out shortly. And the rivalry continues.RESPECT!!
