Maxi Priest the new frontman for UB40
Reports out of Europe are that Maxi Priest is replacing Ali Campbell of UB40. The merger between UB40 and Maxi Priest is not surprising since there have been rumors of him joining the group since he toured with them last year. Ali Campbell resigned from the group in January amidst problems with the group’s management but in a public statement wished the remaining members of the band well. Maxi Priest has already recorded Bob Marley’s I Shot The Sheriff and more music is anticipated in the near future.
