Marion Jones Sees Things "Clearly" Now

After years of denying that she used performance enhancing drugs, Marion Jones has finally admitted to her family and friends that she did in fact take “the clear” before the 2000 Olympics. The clear is linked to the infamous BALCO labs which is in embroiled in a steroid scandal involving the likes of Barry Bonds and many other renowned professional athletes. Jones said that her coach Trevor Graham told her it was flaxseed oil and not to tell anyone, according to the Washington Post. Trevor Graham is the renowned Jamaican coach who competed in the ‘88 Olympics and has worked with world-class athletes such as Justin Gaitlin and Tim Montgomery. He sent in “the clear” in 2003 to the US Anti-Doping Agency which sparked the entire scandal. Jones admits to using the performance enhancing clear from 1999-2002. She will plead guilty to counts of lying to federal agents and on a separate financial issue today in New York, she could face up to 6 months in jail and will more than likely lose her Olympic medals. What a shame.
