So, I run out and take care of my errands and stop by Best Buy to pick up Jill Scott, Keyshia Cole, and of course Wayne Wonder. I ask the guy in the music section if they even have a reggae section because Best Buy has really scaled back on their reggae, so of course he’s like “Wayne who?” I’m like “Wayne Wonder”…so he goes a searchin‘ on his his little cart and he looks and he looks some more, and after about a minute he pulls it out. I ask him, “how many copies do you have?” He says, “2″. Can you believe it???? So, with my purchase they’ll only have one left. I think that’s crazy but since I purchase most of my music online it’s not a big deal for me, but this must really hurt the artists. Independent records stores aren’t always close by and nor do they always carry the artists you are looking for. Oh well, I haven’t listened to the entire CD yet, but I really like track #5 For My Love and of course #7 I Still Believe and #12 Love and Affection.
P.S. Wayne, it’s only cause I really love your music that I sucked it up and paid the retail price of $14.00, ’cause that’s a no-no for me if I can help it!
