Did You Know They Were Jamaican?: Alicia Keys
It’s been a while since I did one of these, so here’s a new one for you…Congratulations to Alicia Keys for debuting No. 1 on Billboard with her new album, As I Am. Alicia sold almost 750,000 copies in the first week! Alicia Keys father, Craig Cook, is a Jamaican. (Craig was not a part of Alicia’s life during her formative years, as her parents were seperated but Alicia and her father have since reconciled.) Now you know why she rocked the American Music Awards so effortlessly! Here’s Ghetto Story by Baby Cham and Alica, live in NYC below:

I learned so much from reading this post. I had no clue all these people were Jamaican. dang…
It doesn’t mean anything cause he hasn’t looked out for her. I would be embarrassed to even say he is an Island Man. Most Island Men look out for what’s there’s. She made it because of her mother’s backing.
