Are you wondering what that reggae song is on the TV show Bones?
So I’m watching something on FOX the other night, maybe it was “So You Think You Can Dance”, and all of I sudden I hear this reggae beat thumping out of my TV, and I immediately look up from my computers, a little bit confused but compelled to dance. The song is infectious and it has a nice rhythm to it. I am watching FOX right? Is it possible that I’m hearing a real reggae song on primetime TV? Oh my goodness, it’s a promo for the hit show…BONES??? Now isn’t this unconventional? Very, very interesting, so what do I do? Yeah, the same thing I always do when I want to know something quick, fast, and in a hurry, I googled it. LOL! My exact search was “What is that reggae song on Bones?” Quite scientific huh? After about a few seconds, I discover that it’s called Boom Shot Dis and it’s by these guys.
They are Kully B and Gussy G of The United Kingdom, and I discovered that these guys are very popular music writers for tv and film and have even done remixes for everyone from Justin Timberlake to Busta Rhymes, so now I can rest easy again.
